Wind, rough sea, a tight sail in the firm hands of the wind surfer; it’s an unforgettable feeling of man’s strength and raw nature. Pag Bay is the perfect place for both beginner and professional wind surfers. The constant wind in the afternoon provides optimum speed for sailing on the waves. During summer afternoons, the wind allows constant speed of 40kmph. During stronger winds (Pag Bora or Sirocco) windsurfers reach speeds of up to 80 kmph, and it’s even more fun because of small waves. For those somewhat bolder and more experienced, we recommend the area of Pag channel as an excellent place for adrenaline surfing. Before beginning, it is necessary to study the area of Pag Bay for a variety of rocks and reefs which rise from the sea up to 100 meters from the shore. We also recommend that you consult with your host about windsurfing to more closely familiarize yourself with the weather, the position of reefs, rocks and fishing areas, etc. We hope you have fun.
